Bracklesham Bay

As you may know the Primary Care Trust (who effectively run Health Care in West Sussex) has voted to downgrade St Richards hospital, moving acute accident and emergency and maternity functions to Worthing or Portsmouth hospitals.  As anyone who lives on or around Bracklesham Bay knows, this will mean hospital emergency jouneys will now take up to an hour, instead of minutes. 

There is now an e-petition to Save St Richards on the 10 Downing Street website - we encourage you all to sign before our health care is taken away by an unelected body, and a flawed process (most of the PCT board live in the Worthing area).
