Great news! The determined folk at Bracklesham Bay Community Association have been successful in securing massive funding from the National Lottery for the construction of a new Community Centre here in Bracklesham Bay!
It will provide a much-needed source of outdoor fun and exercise for the local community. As local residents of Bracklesham ourselves, we here at Bracklesham Bay Online are thoroughly looking forward to using the new centre with its playground, picnic areas, community centre and playing fields. The proposed community centre building is planned to have changing rooms, toilets and showers and also a permanent stage and hall so there will be facilities for many activities.
So a big round of applause for everyone who made the bid successful!
The centre will be located on the area of land to the north of Farm Road and to the east of Beech Avenue. We believe that it will be accessible by car from Beech Avenue and on foot from both ends of Farm Road.
